The Nelson Algren Museum of Miller Beach is housed in the 1928 Telephone Building once owned by Algren
friend, David Peltz.
He may be best known for The Man with
the Golden Arm, a 1949 novel that won the National Book Award and was adapted as a 1955 film of the
same name.
VISIT
Visits include the Algren museum and pocket park and a sidewalk
view of the cabin Algren lived
in during the 1950’s.

We are deeply grateful for generous grants from the Knight Donor Advised Fund of the Legacy Foundation and the Miller Community Fund.
