MILLER BEACH

After your visit to the Museum, cabin and pocket park, enjoy Lake Street in Miller, a delightful retail experience.  Across the street is Miller Beach Arts & Creative District with constantly changing art exhibits.

Do not miss Miller Pizza, an anchor on Lake Street for 30 years, and 18th Street Brewery with award winning craft beers and great food. Anna's Kombucha Cafe offers wonderful breakfast and lunch and a variety of drinks in a friendly atmosphere. The Captain's House features a diverse menu with a focus on seafood.

Our friends at Lake Street Gallery and Indie Indie Bang Bang have wonderful items for purchase.  Beautiful clothing is available at Adell's Beach Boutique and Vibrations has smoothies, other health food and a grocery store with select items. Dialogue Book Bar offers up books, wine and coffee. Miller Schoolhouse Shops, a creative community collaborative, offers three floors of shopping and unique events in a historic building.

On the shores of Lake Michigan, the Gary Aquatorium, a National Historic Landmark rescued from demotion in 1991, now serves as a beautiful pavilion on the beach. And of course, Lake Michigan and the Indiana Dunes National Park surround us on all sides.
