The Museum is open by appointment only.
Tours include a street-side view of the cabin that Algren lived in during the 1950's, the Museum and a tour of our pocket park.

Tours are $30 per person, which ends with a complimentary beer in a local establishment.

Ride the same rails as Algren by taking the
South Shore train from Chicago's Millennium Station, just one block south of the American Writers Museum. Exit the train at Miller/Lake Street station and follow three blocks north to
our location.
